What we do

Most of our renovation work comes through clients we already did the exterior for. They ask us to take the kitchen or the master bath next, and once they see how the crew works, they hand us the whole floor. We frame, drywall, paint, run trim, and coordinate the trades we do not do in-house — electrical, plumbing, HVAC.

Our renovations are not designer-led one-month transformations. They are owner-led, contractor-built rebuilds done on a fixed timeline and a fixed number. No surprises, no scope creep, no "while we are at it" line items added later.

FAQ

Common questions.

The questions we hear most often on interior renovation estimates.

  • Can I stay in the house during a renovation?

Depends on the scope. Single-floor or single-room renovations: yes, with reasonable expectations about dust and noise. Whole-house gut renovations: no — most owners decant for the duration. We will tell you honestly during scoping which side your project falls on.

  • How long does a typical kitchen or bathroom take?

Standard bathroom: 3–4 weeks from demo to final walk-through. Standard kitchen: 6–10 weeks depending on cabinetry lead times. Whole-house: 4–8 months. These are realistic timelines, not optimistic ones — they assume normal supplier behaviour and one round of inspection re-visits.

  • Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We pull every permit required for the work, schedule inspections at the right stages, and walk inspectors through. If your project requires architectural drawings or HVAC engineering, we coordinate with the consultants on the owner's behalf.

  • Do you work with my interior designer?

Yes — and we work better when there is one. A clear design scope reduces ambiguity during construction. If you do not have a designer and you want one, we have a short list of people we have worked with for years; if you prefer to keep the project owner-led, we can run it that way too.
